The Half Moon Bay High School Boosters Athletics Corp (BAC) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting athletics at Half Moon Bay High School through volunteerism, community involvement, and fund raising efforts. All BAC proceeds go directly to funding sports programs, equipment purchases, and facility improvements at HMBHS for the continuing development of competitive teams, academically successful student athletes, and school and community spirit.

Mission Statement

"To support and expand athletic participation while building teamwork, enhancing leadership qualities and increasing academic performance amongst our student athletes."

What Do the Boosters Do?

Through donation drives, snack bar, merchandise, gate fees, Black & Orange Ball, Pumpkin Festival, the Cougar Golf Classic, and other fund raising efforts, Cougar Boosters has been able to contribute an average of more than $450,000 annually in equipment, uniforms and services to all of the High School’s athletic teams.  Our role continues to expand to help maintain and improve the strong sports tradition at HMBHS.

Additionally, BAC helps fund the Athletic Trainer program, contributing to the health and safety of our high school athletes during conditioning, practices and games, supporting 24 athletic teams and over 450 student athletes. The school district very nicely funds the bulk of the program, allowing for the Athletic Trainer to maintain a full-time position.  This is a very important role supporting all athletes and students, and we continue to need your support.

Below are just a few other items Cougar Boosters helps to purchase.
